Nairobi: Discipleship, Prayer & An Open Door to More
Hello From Nairobi!
We arrived safely and pretty jet-lagged after a very long transcontinental flight. We landed on a Friday, and we were off and running starting Sunday.
Overall, while it’s been a whirlwind, we had an amazing time at our first stop, Cornerstone Faith Assembly in Nairobi. I taught twice for their Sunday morning church services before kicking off the conference on Monday, where I taught in the morning and then returned for an evening session. This was the schedule for Tuesday as well, before finishing up with a closing session on Wednesday morning.
Teachings focused on discipleship, how to make a disciple, and what a disciple looks like. I also spoke on the Kingdom of God and how to build ministries. On Wednesday morning I spent 1½ hours answering questions about some of the struggles they have faced, or are having, in ministry and how to build their churches, including how to work with their leaders.
We had amazing times of prayer over all the leaders including a very special time of them praying over me on Wednesday before I left. All in all, it was a great time and I am believing that God will work deeply in their hearts and churches.
After Wednesday’s session, I received several requests to return to Africa with one wanting me to come to Ethiopia, which I believe the Lord is asking me to do. Please pray for me regarding these requests and others that continue to come in as I am uncertain how many and which ones to take on.
Thank you always for your continued prayers!
Blessings,
Pastor Dan
