Spiritual Gifts | Part Two
What happens when we begin to understand the One who gives spiritual gifts?
In Part Two of this series, we go deeper into 1 Corinthians 12 and explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is not simply a power or an influence—He is our Helper, our God, the promise of the Father, and the One who gives gifts to the Church.
We also explore why spiritual gifts are meant to be lived out in community. We are each part of one body, and when we surrender to the Holy Spirit and use the gifts He has given us, He works through us to love people, serve others, and reveal Jesus.
But spiritual gifts require humility. Gifts used without love can wound rather than build up, which is why Paul places his teaching on love right in the middle of his teaching on spiritual gifts.
The Holy Spirit has given you a place in the body of Christ—and He wants to work through you.
Join us as we continue discovering what it means to live as people of the Spirit and faithfully use what God has placed within us.
