Building Disciples | Why Does the Church Exist?

In this installment of the "Building Disciples" series, Pastor Dan Carroll tackles a foundational question: Why does the church exist?

Many believers view church as a place for fellowship, encouragement, worship, or community.

While those things matter, Jesus gave His Church a much greater mission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:19)

Drawing from Matthew 16, Matthew 28, and Ephesians 4, Pastor Dan explores Jesus' vision for the Church and challenges us to examine whether we are truly becoming disciples and helping others do the same.

In this teaching you'll discover:
• The biblical purpose of the Church
• Why Jesus emphasized discipleship above gathering crowds
• What it means to walk in spiritual authority
• Characteristics of a mature disciple Whether you're a pastor, ministry leader, or simply growing in your walk with Christ, this message will encourage you to pursue a deeper, more intentional life of discipleship.

Key Scriptures:
Matthew 16:13-19
Matthew 28:18-20
Ephesians 4
